General Shop Policies
18 & Over Policy: It is against California state law to tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent. Valid photo ID is required to get tattooed.
Deposit Policy: Deposits are always nonrefundable. Tattoo artists only get paid when they are working, as such, your deposit guarantees that the artist will be compensated for the time that they have blocked off for your appointment and for the time that they have spent working in preparation for your appointment, as well as for clients who have been turned away from that time slot. Deposits are applied to the total cost of your tattoo and are not an additional charge. Deposits are deducted from your final session. If you cancel or reschedule without giving at least 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to leave a new one for future appointments. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late for an appointment, this will be considered a no-show and your deposit may be forfeited. If you arrive to your appointment intoxicated and unable to be tattooed, your deposit may be forfeited. If you arrive to your appointment without ID and are unable to be tattooed, your deposit may be forfeited. If we are given adequate notice of cancellation or rescheduling, your deposit will be applied to the new appointment. Deposits are not transferable to another person.
Late Policy: If you are more than 30 minutes late to your appointment this can severely throw off your artist’s schedule. As such, it may be treated as a no-show, your deposit will be forfeited, and you will need to leave a new deposit to reschedule your appointment.
Cancellation Policy: Deposits are always nonrefundable. We require 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your appointment. If we receive more than 48 hours’ notice for a cancellation, we will honor your deposit for a future appointment. If you no-show or give us less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit is forfeited and you will need to leave a new deposit for future appointments.
Reschedule Policy: Deposits are always nonrefundable. We require 48 hours’ notice to reschedule an appointment. If we are given more than 48 hours’ notice that you need to reschedule, we will honor your deposit and apply it to the new appointment date. If you no-show or give us less than 48 hours’ notice that you need to reschedule, your deposit may be forfeited and you will need to leave a new deposit. If your appointment is rescheduled more than twice, your deposit will be forfeited, and you will need to leave a new deposit.
Release of artwork policy: We will not release custom drawings from the shop. If you would like to see your drawing in advance of your appointment you will need to contact your artist and schedule a time to come into the shop to review it in person. You may, at the artists’ discretion, purchase your drawing if you would like it to be released, for no less than 50% of the quoted price of the tattoo.
Revision Policy: Minor revisions to your design may be made at the time of your appointment. Major revisions that are still within the scope of your initial design may require that your appointment be rescheduled, and your deposit will be moved forward. If you arrive to your appointment and ask for a completely new design, your appointment will be rescheduled, and you may need to leave a new deposit.
Touch Up Policy: The first touch up of a tattoo is complimentary if scheduled within 6 months of the original appointment and with the original artist who did the tattoo. Touch ups will not be done until the tattoo is fully healed (often 2-4 weeks and at the artist’s discretion). If your tattoo needs to be touched up due to client negligence or failure to follow our aftercare instructions, you will be charged for a rework/cover-up. Some areas of the body are not guaranteed, including hands/fingers, face/head, and feet and may not be eligible for a complimentary touch up. If areas that are not guaranteed need to be touched up/redone, you will be charged full price for every additional touch up.
Pet Policy: In accordance with the Department of Environmental Health, pets are prohibited inside of tattoo shops. Service animals are permitted within the lobby area but may not enter procedure areas as this poses a sanitation risk to those getting tattooed. Service animals may not be left in the lobby unattended.
Child Policy: Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in procedure areas. Minors may not be left unattended in the lobby.
